This is probably my favorite Mexican restaurant to buy tacos and burritos from!
JESUS the cook makes the most delicious tacos ever!!!
The steak is well done and juicy.
The tortillas are soft and dipped a little in oil which I love!!!
I consider this place for tacos and their Ino's special burrito, it's as big as my forearm.

Quite disappointed. I cannot recall ever eating a taco more flavorless than these. Their barbacoa in particular was disappointing. It tasted like if you went and got a cheap and frozen Jose Ole taquito from the freezer section and carved out the gloppy meat they have in there and threw away the outer tortilla. Kind of like dog food, honestly.

Everything was so flavorless that even the sour cream was disappointing (and overpriced) somehow. The rice tasted like I was eating unaltered white rice. The beans were just some brown paste that practically gelled and hardened before I could finish it. All the meat was dry. The al pastor was pretty good, though. But that's it.

It was also very hot and sweaty in there, and the cashier seemed annoyed to be there. They had The X Factor playing quietly on a very tiny television. I think I saw a fly or two. The red and green sauces are just painful to the tongue. Liquid fire. Not a great place. I had high hopes for this one and was very disappointed. They also don't give you limes with your to-go tacos and are unwilling to give you chips and salsa unless you dine in. Which is reasonable enough, sure, and I wouldn't even mention it if the rest of everything else hadn't been so disappointing.

My typical rule for tacos is that the crummier the interior of the restaurant is, the better the tacos. But this place defies that rule. It's just crummy on the inside with tacos just as crummy. A real shame.

    Eh.

For awhile now, I've driven by this place and always wondered what it was all about. Well, the craving for Mexican food, a 20% cash back Groupon, and the fact that I was in the area finally made for a good opportunity to check it out.

First off, someone needs to walk into the place with a high pressure hose and just blast it clean. The ceilings are filthy, the windows are dingy and the floors have a greasy shine to them. From what I could see of the prep area, it seemed OK - but honestly the public areas are pretty dubious when it comes to cleanliness.

OK, time to order. After glancing at the menu. I decide to try the Enchiladas Suizas dinner. I figure I'll get one of each type of enchilada (chicken, beef or cheese). Three options for sauce posted - red, green or mole - I'm going to order the mole because mole sauces to me are a good indicator of just how good the culinary skills are of a Mexican restaurant. So I order that and am told, "we don't have mole". As if it doesn't exist period, not as if they had just run out or they were out of it on that day. Hmmmm, bummer. I get the red sauce. I also order a large soda, easy ice.

So I'm given a red plastic cafeteria tray with chips, two types of salsa in squeeze bottles and my soda - which was quite a large soda I will say. The straws are by the front, so I grab one. As I go to tear off the wrapping, I notice that they are Culver's straws. Yup, the same blue ones that help people suck down their shakes and malts. Seems a little odd and tacky that they have them at this place.

Chips and salsa are OK. After a few minutes, I hear my meal being called out, so I go up to the front. I'm handed three enchiladas suizas, Spanish rice, refried beans, some lettuce and tomato and a bit of sour cream squirted haphazardly on the entree. All on a medium sized Buffalo china dish. Seemed odd given the plasticware and large styrofoam cup I had gotten a few minutes earlier.

So I dig in. Absolutely nothing was special about the meal. Kind of reminded me of eating at Pepe's - a local Mexican chain that was about the only south of the border food in town some forty plus years ago, but now tastes like something out of the frozen food section in a grocery store. Blandarama.

With or without the Groupon, the price was OK for the amount of food I got, but I would have been happy to pay a couple bucks more for noteworthy food. Not impressed - doubt I'll be back.

Sure it looks good. But does it taste good. Not at all. The steak has absolutely no flavor what so ever. The quesadilla is not good at all Let's just say I will never be ordering from here again

I tried to give this place the benefit of the doubt because I was drunk ordered simple taco dinner the rice was in edible the tortilla shells were hard and stale and the meat was Chewy. Won't be coming back ever not even if I'm starving.
